When you encounter web sites or applications that require Java, a message window will give you the option to allow Java to run or not. To remove Java from the computer, follow the steps above for uninstalling Java. With this action, Java is disabled in all your web browsers but the Java application is still installed on the computer. No action is needed to disable Java for computers with these operating systems. To disable Java for all web browsers on your computer:
